Puppy and Kitten Care

Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center

You’ve added a new member to your family – a kitten or puppy! Your growing family is a happy thing, and we’ll be glad to meet your new fur baby at Nippers Corner Pet Medical Center. We can give your new pet a checkup and make sure he has everything he needs to start his new life with you in a healthy way.

Why Is It Important to Bring In Your New Puppy or Kitten?

It’s essential to make sure from the start that your new pet is healthy, and to check for any problems or diseases. We do this with our puppy and kitten care services in Nashville, which makes it easier to catch a problem early, and helps you avoid introducing an illness or parasites to your other pets. In addition, your pet might need certain preventative measures and procedures that are common for young pets to receive.

During your visit, our vet can give you some advice on how to take care of your kitten now and into adulthood, including information on training, vaccinations, nutrition and other topics. Even if you are already a seasoned pet parent, each individual pet can have specific needs. And if you do already have pets, we can offer some advice on bringing your new bundle into the rest of your pet family. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this new furry family member.

Our Puppy and Kitten Care Services

When you bring your new addition in for the first time, our veterinarian will give her a full body exam to check her overall health and treat any problems. With young pets, this is the right time to start a vaccine schedule and parasite management. In addition, we perform spaying and neutering services if your pet hasn’t already had the relevant procedure.

As your puppy or kitty grows, we encourage you to continue bringing him in to see us. Our vet can provide regular checkups to see if he’s still healthy, or if there are any concerns that need attention. And of course, we’re here if you have an emergency or you notice something not quite right with your pet.

Call our office to make an appointment for your pet’s first checkup with us. We look forward to meeting your furry friend!
